HERE AT VADEN BOERS I USE LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOGS TO PROTECT MY HERD . SHIRLEY A 5 YR OLD GREAT PRYNEESSE/ KOMONDOR CROSS FEMALE , AND MOLLY A 4 YR OLD FEMALE FULLBLOODED KOMONDOR , BOTH ARE EXCELLENT PROTECTORS .
MOLLY is a full blooded KOMONDOR , she is 2 years old now and just about finished her training under SHIRLEY . she works well alone or with shirley , she has been trained with bucks does and kids , and is maturing into a fine guardian and will soon be ready to take on a pup of her own to train . she comes from the same farm as SHIRLEY , and a long line of proven working lgds. update /oct . 2008 , well molly is now 4 and grown into a great guardian , she is part of the team that keeps vaden boers goats safe . she has grown inot her job well .

SHIRLEY , is a 5YR old GREAT PRYENEES /KOMONDOR cross and is head guardian and trainer of the lgds . what can i say she is both intelligent and courageous . without her vaden boers could not exist . she has raised and trained 5 pups from her last litter , while training MOLLY , and helping the does with their kids this past spring . she truly is dog with no equal . she is from a long bloodline of work lgds and i was very fortunate have been able to purchase her. she is pictured here with SADIE one of the new does her at vaden boers . update oct/2008 shirley is still top guardian here at vaden boers , but has decided to delegate alot of duties to molly and shirley has been spending time with the buck of her own decision , she has welcomed and inspected every new doe added this year , and almost seems to know that her herd has grown and she has adjusted her guarding to reflect it . once again with out her this herd would not be possible .
